IPL 2022: Mumbai target Delhi by 14 runs
Mumbai: The Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals face off today in the second match of the IPL 2022. Mumbai Indians, who batted first, lost five wickets for 17 runs in the allotted overs thanks to the explosive batting of Ishan Kishan. Delhi have a target of 16 runs. Ishan Kishan scored a stunning 41, while captain Rohit Sharma scored 41. Tilak Burma has 22 runs. For Delhi, Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets for 14 runs. Khalil Ahmed also took 2 wickets.

The Delhi Capitals decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kisan, two openers for the Mumbai Indians, batted well and gave the team a good start. He opened the scoring with 4 runs in 4.2 overs. Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 41 off 32 balls with four fours and two sixes. Anmolpreet Singh, 7, was later dismissed. Ishan Kisan and Tilak Burma then batted fast to take Mumbai to 116 runs. Burma were dismissed for 22 runs.
Kiran Pollard (3) did not stay at the crease for long. Ishan Kishan, on the other hand, continued his explosive batting and strengthened the team’s position. He scored his 10th half-century in the IPL. Kishan was unbeaten on 41 off 9 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes. Daniel Sams was unbeaten on 7 runs. With Kishan batting, Mumbai lost 5 wickets and scored 17 runs.
