Shivaji stayed with his mother as a child and studied science as Sahaji moved away from Pune. He was determined to liberate his homeland from the clutches of foreigners and to protect Hinduism and Hinduism. Shivaji did not learn to read much as a child. However, Shivaji was well versed in martial arts, armaments, and horse riding. Hearing from his mother the teachings, reforms and the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, he vowed to protect the idols and Gobrahmanis from the oppression of the Mughals. Shivaji formed an army to teach the warriors the ‘Maoyali’ mountain range near Puna. With their help, Shivaji invaded the Muslim state and occupied several forts. Shivaji, the Bijapur sultan, imprisoned Shivaji’s father, Shahaji, for looting money sent to the Bijapur treasury. However, Shivaji threatened to befriend the Mughal emperor of Delhi and handed over his father to the Sultan of Bijapur, freeing him from captivity.

Meanwhile, the hypocrite Aurangzeb Shivaji and his son Shambhuji were invited to Delhi. There he was insulted by a small number of soldiers and unarmed. The father arrested his two sons. Shivaji was much more cunning than Aurangzeb. Following the “Shathe Shathyam Sama Charet” policy, he hid himself in one of the sweets and hid his son in another. From there he went to a shrine, and from there he mounted his son on a horse and drove to Mathura, five miles away, overnight. He surrendered to his son, a devout Brahmin, and shaved his head in Prayag, Kashi, Gaya, Patna, Cuttack and Hyderabad a year later to reach his capital, Raigad, to escape the clutches of the Mughal army.
